Please do not send a text or leave a message as we are duplicating calls not knowing who we are calling back, keep ringing and someone will answer the phone!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>To email click on the following link: <a href=\"mailto:contact@themuzzleshop.com?subject=XL%20Bullie%20help\">contact@themuzzleshop.com.&nbsp;<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you don&#8217;t get a reply to your email then please ring or send a nudge!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>HOW TO MEASURE &amp; GET THE RIGHT FIT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Circumference for the depth<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The basket on the 117 DIGBY is 44cm in circumference, the 117 Clifford is 40cm in circumference.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you measure the circumference around the dogs muzzle, measured with the tape snug and the dogs mouth closed as shown on Dan below left, then&nbsp;<strong>generally<\/strong> a measurement up to approx 26cm would fit the Clifford, and anything up to 36cm could fit the Digby. <strong>But please double check by holding a loop of tape at 40cm or 44cm&nbsp; over the end of their nose as shown on Riley&#8217;s photo below. the dogs must be able to open their mouths to pant for safety and comfort.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;If they do not have enough room in the muzzle they will constantly try and remove it and never settle with it on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the muzzle baskets are big enough for them to pant they will also be wide enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Riley&#8217;s photo (below right) shows that he would have enough room to comfortable open his mouth to pant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200b\u200b\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.wixstatic.com\/media\/ec9a2f_27615844ec9048068ff3043a11ca3f76~mv2.jpeg\/v1\/fill\/w_349,h_262,al_c,q_80,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto\/ec9a2f_27615844ec9048068ff3043a11ca3f76~mv2.jpeg\" alt=\"\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.33206106870229;width:349px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.wixstatic.com\/media\/ec9a2f_bbceeac5b0fc40f5b8bcf4a293a63ea0~mv2.jpg\/v1\/crop\/x_1,y_0,w_426,h_300\/fill\/w_361,h_254,al_c,q_80,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto\/ec9a2f_bbceeac5b0fc40f5b8bcf4a293a63ea0~mv2.jpg\" alt=\"\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.421259842519685;width:361px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Length<\/strong>&nbsp;the accuracy is not critical as the muzzles come with a long head strap to ensure they are a good fit. &nbsp;Measure the side of the head from the tip of the nose to the base of the ear as shown below (Not behind the ear)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The muzzles are available in 3 lengths to choose from:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">20cm- for a length measuring up to 20cm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">22.5cm &#8211; for a length measuring up to 22.5cm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">25cm for anything else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.wixstatic.com\/media\/ec9a2f_86bd07ac1102476882867ce06b549160~mv2.png\/v1\/fill\/w_363,h_249,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto\/Danny%20length%20dots.png\" alt=\"Danny length dots.png\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.4578313253012047;width:363px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We&#8217;re nearly there!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You now know what length to pick and whether you<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>need a Digby or a Clifford.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u200b<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The final couple of checks are to ensure the muzzle will be a good fit. There should be a gap at the end of the muzzle to make sure it doesn&#8217;t rub the dogs nose. The basket length is 9cm, this means the muzzle- from below their eyes (where the muzzle will rest) to the tip of the nose needs to be at least 6cm, any shorter and then we would need to modify a muzzle. If it is longer that&#8217;s great! The red line on Bambi&#8217;s photo shows where to measure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bambi&#8217;s photo shows how they should fit, it should be placed on their face away from their eyes, away from the end of their nose and there should be a gap underneath to allow them to pant. It is essentially a light, loose cage around the dogs muzzle.
